A ground mounted system is a great option for those that don't have enough roof space, proper orientation, or just don't like the look of the roof mounted system. They can also double as shelter for lawn equipment or firewood. It offers a lot of flexibility on system size allowing you to get just the right offset.
Pole mounted systems are great as a supplement to or in lieu of a roof mounted system. They are very useful when you don't have the space for a ground mounted system, taking up as little as 3ft of space on the ground while still giving you a sizable offset. Although pole mounts are a larger initial investment, the rate of return is more favorable because of increased efficiency.
The roof mounted system is the most cost effective and most popular mounting style. It uses your existing roof space and makes it work for you, giving you savings while taking up no extra space. Not only is this the least expensive mounting option but also the quickest. These systems can be installed within a couple days from start of work to completed system.
A lot of your electric bill comes from the simple act of heating water. We use a closed loop Solar Hot Water system that uses direct sunlight as well as ambient heat to heat glycol in the closed loop system. It flows to your Solar Hot Water Tank, which is super insulated so that it keeps the heat longer, where it transfers it's heat to the water in the tank. On those random cold and cloudy days with no direct sunlight or ambient heat to use; the Solar Hot Water Tank has it's own highly efficient heating coils so that you still save money but are never without hot water.
